Vertrical is an international, Germany based software development and consulting company for cloud platform solutions mainly in the digital health sector.

Your Role

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be part of one of our Engineering teams, led by a Team Lead. Regarding the work, it's a 100 % remote job and teams are sized in a way they are flexible enough to work at comforting and happy pace. Your primary responsibility is building software solutions, which includes building new features as well as fixing and improving old features. You will have daily team stand-up meetings and the rest of the day you'll be coding away, constantly working on various tasks whether it is building a new feature or fixing a bug. This includes collaborating with other developers on technical challenges, discussing and solving them. You would be expected to produce well-structured, well-written, fully functional pieces of software, and you're given a great environment to constantly learning and growing your skills surrounded by other talented software developers.

About you

You are a Senior Fullstack Developer, but also a quick-learner and an engaged communicator. You’re persistent and curious and a person with positive energy, who truly enjoys being a part of a team and loves working in an international environment.

We do not think in rigid requirements, but here are a few things you can impress us with:

• We need strong knowledge in JavaScript & Typescript. That's a must. Along with knowledge of type language like C#
  
• For frontend: React knowledge essential as we are currently using it. It is also beneficial to know one of SSG frameworks Next/Gatsby/Remix.
  
• For backend: Being proficient in NestJS is ideal, but we understand it’s not a very common framework. With that said, we’d be happy with Express or Fastify knowledge as well
  
• Good knowledge in AWS desired
• Excellent non-violent communication skills in English (other languages are of course a plus)
  
• Not being afraid of failing and learning on the go
  
• Readiness to collaborate and communicate with a mixed, cross-cultural, international team
  
• Sharing our values and supporting us in creating an awesome workplace
  
• Open minded towards diversity and equity, meaning cultural, racial, religious, gender and sexual orientation.

There is no way anyone can check off every box. However, it is important that you are advanced or fluent in English as our primary language we use to communicate.
